Shannon Creek Dam
Projects
Constructon of Shannon Creek Dam commenced early in 2006 and was completed in November 2008 at a cost of $94.6 million. The Dam has a capacity of 30,000 ML, the equivalent of about 15,000 Olympic size swimming pools. It is 3.5km long, up to 1 km wide and has a surface area of 210 ha.
