Gibson Island Advanced Water Treatment Plant

Projects

Pacific Survey were contracted to carry out all survey works on the Gibson Island Advanced Water Treatment Plant, with the project due for completion in early 2010.

Two new settling tanks were being constructed, each having a radius of 22.5m and a wall height of 5.1m. Installation of screw piling was completed, leaving the construction of formwork and subsequent pouring of the concrete tank floor and walls next on the agenda. Piping installation was also incorporated as part of this phase of the project.

Not only were we involved establishing a new control network, we are also assisting with design work on the tanks, as well as a new distribution chamber, connecting pipes and other associated services.
