Kooragang Island

Pacific Survey was engaged, as sub-contractors to Abi Group, to provide setout for the Kooragang Coal Export Terminal project. Our contract involved building the inbound concrete structures for the new coal terminal with the three main elements being a rail/coal dump station, the adjoining rail viaduct and a rail and road bridge.

There were many complexities associated with this project that Pacific Survey must overcome. Setout was restricted to a confined space resulting in station placement issues as well as line of sight obstruction.
