Cardwell Range Upgrade (Bruce Highway)

Projects

The project outcomes included an upgrade of a 4.5 km section of the Bruce Highway providing a safer realignment and reduction of grades, along with wider road shoulders and heavy vehicle passing lanes. To achieve this will require substantial cut and fill works, along with the construction of 4 bridges including a 200m long viaduct. Works are under strict environmental orders as they border National Parks and World Heritage reserves amongst an amazing rainforest backdrop.
