Alfred Street Pedestrian & Cyclist Bridge

Pacific Survey provided the surveying resources to Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure to construct the new Alfred Street Bridge over the Parramatta River. The bridge is approximately 200m long and 4.5m wide and spans the Parramatta River between James Ruse Drive and the Gasworks Bridge. The bridge, when opened in October 2023, was the first of its kind in Australia, using a diagonal arch and cables to support the deck above the river at a cost of $19m.
