Main Road 92

Projects

Pacific Survey was engaged to provide survey to Nace Civil for the 20 kilometre Stage 3 section of the project.

The MR92 project involved the widening, realignment and sealing of existing gravel road from Nowra to Nerriga. Both the reconstruction of existing road formation under traffic was necessary, as well as the construction of new sections of road on improved alignments.

The road itself passes through Morton National Park and encompasses the environmentally sensitive Sassafras village area, with some sections of Stage 3 west of Sassafras within the Sydney Catchment Authority (SCA) area.

Pacific Survey has been presented with an opportunity to showcase our versatility on this job. We’ve participated in such diverse construction activities as erosion and sedimentation control, clearing of vegetation, major earthworks (construction of embankments, excavation in rock), stormwater and subsurface drainage, construction of retaining walls, installation of boundary fencing, marking the Morton National Park boundary, surface treatment on bridges, construction of unbound pavement courses, revegetation, as well as signposting, pavement marking and roadside furnishings.
