Pacific Highway Upgrade, Nambucca Heads to Urunga

When Lendlease (Abigroup) were awarded the 22km Nambucca Heads to Urunga section of the Pacific Highway Upgrade, they turned to Pacific Survey to provide the survey experience, quality, safety and environmental management systems to undertake these works.

Primarily our surveyors were responsible for early works survey tasks such as topographic and detail surveys to aid design work and marking of clearing limits, sensitive environmental, cultural and heritage sites. The majority of this work was carried out in very dense vegetation and difficult terrain with our staff being highly praised for their efforts in very demanding conditions. Works progressed onto bulk earthworks and settlement monitoring of pre-load to assist the engineers. Our survey teams followed strict environmental and safety procedures when performing these works.
